If you have been around the internet in the last few days, you must have heard about this trend, ChatGPT. It has gone viral and a lot of people are talking about it. I’m guessing you probably heard about it too unless you are living under a rock. Just kidding.

But the important question is, what the heck is ChatGPT and why should you care about it?
In this article, I am not going to just tell you what ChatGPT is, but I will tell you how you can leverage this tool in your life, school, business, and almost anything you do with real-life examples.

By the end of this article, you would be shocked by the kind of experiments I did with this tool. Some of these experiments might actually shock you.

WHAT IS CHATGPT?

ChatGPT is a variant of the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) language model, developed by OpenAI, specifically designed for generating text in a conversational style. Like other GPT models, ChatGPT is trained on a large text dataset and uses machine-learning techniques to create human-like text. In layman’s terms, ChatGPT is a computer program that is designed to generate text that sounds like it was written by a person.

It does this by learning from a large amount of text written by people, and then using what it learned to come up with new text that sounds like it was written by a person.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

ChatGPT is often used to help chatbots, which are computer programs that can talk to people online, and respond to what people say. For example, if someone asks a chatbot a question, ChatGPT can help the chatbot come up with a good answer. ChatGPT can also be used to generate conversation logs, which are records of conversations that people have had or to generate conversation simulations, which are fake conversations that are used to test or train other computer programs.

That’s the technical explanation of what is amazing tool does. Probably sounds boring to you compared to the cool use cases that I am about to share with you right now.

Call me biased, but I want to show you how you can use ChatGPT to supercharge your business and save more than 50% of your time on manual busy tasks. But this blog is mainly for businesses, so yeah, that’s why I am going with that first.

USE CASES FOR CHATGPT IN BUSINESS

Let me start by saying that the use cases for ChatGPT in business are limited to your imagination because you can do a lot with this tool, so in this article, I am going to share the top 7 (+1 bonus) ways you can use ChatGPT in your business.

Content Ideas for social media
You know that feeling when you have to come up with content for your brand but your brain is like “no, brain.exe has stopped working.” It is a frustrating feeling when you can’t come up with good content to share with your community. However, with ChatGPT, that is a thing of the past. You can just go to ChatGPT and ask it for content ideas and it will give you numerous ideas. That is time saved for you. Here, let me show you an example:

2. Contents prompt and contents

Just like with content ideas, you can ask ChatGPT to create content for you. However, because of plagiarism issues, you have to be smart about how you use these contents. Instead of just copying the content generated by ChatGPT and pasting it on your website, you can get creative and use the generated content as a guideline to create yours or rewrite the generated content so it looks unique.
Of course, it doesn’t really matter if you are using the content in a close community on WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, or anywhere else where you are not relying on having unique content to rank on the internet. You can also choose to repurpose the content into a video and upload it on YouTube, TikTok, and/or Instagram.

It sucks when you have a good product or service but can’t seem to get people to buy it because you don’t know how to convince them to buy. In fact just the other day I was watching a video by Anik Singal where he said that as a business owner, you need to learn how to sell.

With ChatGPT, you don’t have to struggle anymore to write clean sales copies for your products and services. ChatGPT will help you come up with nice sales copies. However, you have to add “human” elements in some of the scripts. For now, I rate the sales scripts generated by ChatGPT 6/10. Maybe as it keeps learning, it will improve much more.
But that doesn’t mean that it won’t help you with your copies. Here’s an example:

Ask ChatGPT and it shall lead you. Are you struggling to get marketing ideas for your business?

No worries, ChatGPT will help you with marketing ideas. You can also ask ChatGPT for tips concerning the kind of people you should target for your products and services.

Another crucial way you can use ChatGPT in your marketing is by creating your ad copies for your paid advertisements on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or for your Google ads. You don’t have to struggle anymore to come up with ad copies. You got ChatGPT on the case.

5. Customer service prompts
Did you know that customers are more likely to repeat business and become loyal customers with brands that treat them respectfully and with courtesy?

Get that courtesy juice in your business with ChatGPT. ChatGPT will help you come up with courteous prompts and responses to give your customers in any given situation.

Stories sell. You must have heard this at least once in your business journey. One of the reasons why stories sell is because your potential customers can picture themselves in the story and get the results others got from the journey using your products and/or services. It comes down to relating the journey.

With ChatGPT you can create stories without stress based on your past customer’s success from using your products and/or services. Turning the journey into a story will be more relatable for anyone checking out your offer.

7. Lead generation
What about lead generation you asked? Well, you can use ChatGPT for lead generation. With ChatGPT, you can create a “gift” you can giveaway to generate leads for your business.

This “gift” can be an ebook, swipe file, tool, presentation, or webinar that helps them in solving a problem in their business. In exchange for the gift, they will give you their email address or other contact details and you have secured a lead you can market to multiple times in the future.

Bonus -Product description

Technically this also falls under content creation with ChatGPT, however, I had to single it out because of how important it is. I am not a fan of writing products description. It’s not because I can’t write product descriptions but because I find the whole process boring. There’s not much “fun” side to it unlike creating an article or a book.

Thanks to ChatGPT, I don’t think I will ever write a product description again. Maybe I will make edits to the one generated by ChatGPT but I am not writing any more product descriptions from scratch.

GENERAL USE CASES

Now, let’s get to the fun part, using ChatGPT for other things aside from business. Here are some of the things you can use ChatGPT for in your day-to-day life.
1. Write a book
2. Write a song
3. Event ideas
4. Build anything? (game, app)
5. Work/official letters

1- Write a book:
You can use ChatGPT to write a book from scratch. At the moment it is a bit restricted and can’t fully write a book for you, but it can help you with the write-up. In fact, I was able to write a short book on a guy named Yosuke based in Japan. It was a fun process.
ChatGPT will be amazing for short children’s stories, and the best part is that you will not be charged with plagiarism because it uses the plot you give it. The story will be built around the ideas you give ChatGPT for the story.
You may even be able to write an autobiography once you get the hang of using ChatGPT for story writing.

2- Write a song
I admit I had crazy ideas. I gave this a shot, I asked ChatGPT to create a rap song for me and I will tell you this, ChatGPT didn’t disappoint me. It came up with a nice rap song. I used another AI to sing it using Eminem’s voice and based on a poll we did, people thought the song was actually by Eminem, crazy right?

3- Event ideas
Do you find yourself short of ideas for important events like birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, or marriages? You don’t have to be caught lacking ever again because, with ChatGPT, you will have amazing ideas to wow people. Simply head over to ChatGPT and ask it for ideas for the specific event and voila you got nice ideas to try out.

4- Build anything? (game, app)
Want to do a little DIY project at home?
Want to build your own app or game? ChatGPT got you covered. You can ask it to help you with anything you want to build. It can create scripts for you to build apps and games from scratch however, you need to have some basic programming skills to put the final touches and make the tweaks to make the app or game work.

Regardless, it takes a lot of the stress from having to write a script from scratch.
I asked ChatGPT to help me build a secret room in my house (I didn’t know that it’s illegal in some states lol). Here’s the response I got:

5- Work/official letters
I reckon that I am not the only one that hates writing official emails. They are boring and I find myself procrastinating when I have to write one. But guess what, ChatGPT got you covered o this too.

You can really use ChatGPT for so many things. The only limitation is your imagination- and the limitations of the AI lol. But honestly, you can do a lot with it.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY ONLINE WITH CHATGPT

Before I close off this article, I would like to cover a bit about how you can make money online with ChatGPT. I am not going to go into so many details, I am just going to share the ideas with you. Here are some ways you can earn money online with ChatGPT:
1. Freelance content writing:
You can use ChatGPT to help you create and sell content to brands looking for freelance content writers. You can sell this service on Fiverr, Upwork, People per Hour, etc.

2. Freelance copywriter:
Similar to the content writing above, you can niche down to providing freelance copywriting services to business owners and brands. You can get hired on a contract base or full-time. The best part, you can work from home.

3. Create videos:
You can use ChatGPT to create and upload videos to YouTube. This takes a bit more time but if you are able to create a good channel with a good amount of subscribers, you will get to make money from YouTube monetization and promotions.

4. Become a social media influencer:
With the help of ChatGPT, you can become a social media influencer, sharing cool content that is not only helpful to people but also entertaining. As an influencer, you will earn more brand deals and promotions.

5. Become a blogger:
You can become a blog content machine by writing at least one article per day with ChatGPT. Blogging takes time but once you are able to get it off, it is a sustainable stream of income online.

I have said a lot of things about ChatGPT in this article because the tool is amazing. Of course, it has its limitations but it has more perks and will help you in more ways both in your life and your business in more ways than one.
