WHY I HAVEN’T BEEN WRITING RECENTLY3 min read
If you have been following my blog, you probably noticed that I haven’t updated it in a long while. I didn’t want it to take this long before updating my blog. Despite my busy schedules, I had wanted to at least be able to write on post per week.
But here we are today. It has been more than a month since I last uploaded this blog. It’s a shame really.
I won’t get anywhere with this blog if I don’t keep up with the writing plan.
I have a really busy schedule given that my main job that a lot of my time and effort. Lol, I should definitely quit being a nurse and focus on my passion.
Another reason why I don’t get a chance to update my blog is that I have monthly contract to write for a brand. I can only manage to write for my client at the moment which involves a lot of research to curate a good content fitting for the brand.
I’m not trying to make up a bunch of excuses for why I am not active here. I just want to paint a picture of what I have to deal with to you and apologize for not giving you awesome content for a while.
I will let you on a little secret. While I haven’t been active here, I was messing around on Tumblr. Don’t ask me what I have been writing on it. You can take a look at it here. (Don’t expect much)
That’s that on that.
A thousand apologies.
I will try my best to get you more content at least one post every single week. This lockdown period is a good time to catch up with you guys. I think it is a good opportunity to learn and grow yourself instead of growing a potbelly and binging on Netflix. (I kid of course)
But imagine this, how cool would it be if after the lockdown you come out with enough money to buy a new car or a new house? Wouldn’t that be great?
My advice to you during this lockdown period is to invest in yourself, relearn, unlearn, relearn and get skills to pay the bills. People are still making money online during this lockdown period, why should you be left out?
There are a lot of paid online courses that are now free during this lockdown period, why not utilize the opportunity now to upgrade yourself?
Even though there are a lot of courses out there, there are some courses that I think you should pass up. Especially ones that won’t help you gain profitable skills.
For example, I see a lot of people taking courses on Coronavirus (COVID-19), personally I don’t have anything against it. But I don’t see how investing a lot of time in the courses could be profitable. I mean sure, it is important to know about the virus and how to protect yourself from it.
But you don’t necessarily have to take a course to know how to do that. An 30-minute worth of reading could cover all that.
Like I said, this is my personal opinion. Maybe it is a bit biased since I’m working during this lockdown and barely have enough time to do much aside from work.
I recommend taking courses that will help with your bills and set you up on a path to you financially freedom.
What do you think?
